Yiarenis was “born” in 2014 with a lot of passion from Michalakis family, aspiring to add to the gastronomy of the island a tradition of taste, quality, excellent service and hospitality. These features enabled Yiarenis to create its own clientele on the island and its reputation to transcend not only across the village, but also across the country, since it is visited every summer by many visitors from around the world. Dimitris, the head of the family, had tremendous experience in restauration in America and this resulted in setting up the perfect restaurant, as he had dreamed of years ago. Dimitris has been a butcher for 40 years in the village of Apollona, which gives him the opportunity to choose the best for the clientele of the restaurant. Everyone's love for the customer and the pure ingredients used, make the delicacies produced by the local traditional recipes even tastier, which are plenty and have been transmitted from generation to generation. Yiarenis has now built its own story and the goal remains to maintain its name and to convince the customer that just one visit is not enough to taste them all.
